A simple and interesting appetizer of tomatoes stuffed with fried mushrooms and a delicious cheese crust baked in the oven. The stuffed tomatoes taste very juicy and the cheese makes them perfect hearty meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 150 g mushrooms
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • Parsley to taste
  • 4 to matoes
  • 50-70 g cheese

Instructions
 

  • Chop the onion and garlic.
  • Chop parsley finely.
  • Fry briefly in a pan with oil.
  • Add mushrooms and fry for 3-5 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Let cool and mix with chopped parsley.
  • Cut off the tops of the tomatoes.
  • Scoop out the pulp with a spoon.
  • Spread the mushroom filling in the tomatoes and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  • Bake the stuffed tomatoes for about 10-12 minutes at 180° C.
