Simple waffle recipe with butter, eggs and milk. The waffles are super tender inside and have a crispy crust. To the waffles fit perfectly berries, jam, chocolate cream or powdered sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 200 g butter
  • 120-150 g sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 250 ml milk
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 350 g flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1-2 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions
 

  • Cream softened butter and sugar in a mixing bowl with a mixer.
  • Beat in eggs one at a time.
  • Pour in not very cold milk and mix well.
  • Stir in lemon juice.
  • Mix flour with baking powder in a bowl.
  • Sift the flour mixture into the egg mixture.
  • Using a kitchen spatula, stir the mixture together until it forms a thick, smooth batter.
  • Meanwhile, preheat the waffle iron and grease with oil.
  • Put 2 tablespoons of waffle batter into the hot waffle iron.
  • Bake the waffles for about 5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  • You can serve the waffles with powdered sugar, jam or berries.
