Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 500 g flour
  • 1 egg
  • 250 ml water
  • salt to taste

Filling

  • 500 g minced beef and pork meat
  • 2 onions
  • salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions
 

Dough preparation

  • Knead a dough from flour, egg, water and salt in a food processor.
  • Form the dough into a ball, cover with a cloth and let rest for 30 minutes.
  • Preparation of filling: chop the onion, add to the minced meat.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Pelmeni preparation

  • Make 3 sausage rolls from the dough.
  • Cut the rolls into pieces.
  • Form these pieces into a circle by pressing.
  • Roll out thinly on the work surface dusted with flour.
  • Place the minced meat filling in the center of each circle.
  • Fold the circle and press the edges together.
  • Place the finished kneaded pelmeni on a baking sheet dusted with flour or lined with baking paper.
  • Boil the pelmeni in salted water with a peeled onion, bay leaf and a few peppercorns for about 7-10 minutes.
  • Remove with a slotted spoon and arrange on a plate.

Notes

Pelmeni can be served with sour cream or ketchup.
