Julienne is a classic dish with onions and seared salmon topped with a creamy sauce under a cheese crust. The taste is irresistible and it takes only a few minutes to prepare.

  • 170 g salmon fillet
  • 1 onion
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • tbsp flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 160 ml whipped cream
  • 70-80 g cheese


  • Cut salmon fillet into small pieces.
  • Peel onion and chop into quarter rings.
  • Heat butter in a frying pan over medium heat.
  • Sauté onion in it for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add fish and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with flour, salt and pepper and mix.
  • Add cream, stir and remove from heat a minute or two later.
  • Divide fish into three suitable ramekins and sprinkle with the grated cheese.
  • Bake julienne for about 7-10 minutes at 180 °C and serve immediately.
