Fluffy almond macaroons with ground almonds are the popular cookie classics. They taste juicy, fluffy and are incredibly tasty with cinnamon and besides, you only need a few ingredients.

  • 2 egg whites
  • 80 g sugar
  • 175 g almonds ground
  • 1 tsp cinnamon


  • Beat the egg whites to egg whites.
  • Let sugar trickle into the beaten egg whites.
  • Add cinnamon and ground almonds.
  • Mix everything together until you have a nice almond paste.
  • Take a walnut-sized portion by hand and shape into a round.
  • Place on baking sheet and flatten slightly.
  • Or in portions, using a tablespoon, place the almond mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and flatten.
  • Place an almond in the center of each almond macaroon.
  • Bake the macaroons for 15-18 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°.
  • Serve the macaroons with coffee or tea.


You can use the egg yolks for another pastry, e.g. cookies angel eyes.
The macaroons can also be made well with coconut flakes or hazelnuts.
