Fantastic breakfast combination of bread and eggs! The French toast tastes simply delicious. Together with blueberries, cinnamon, powdered sugar and almonds it is a super breakfast idea.

  • 2 eggs
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp. oil
  • 6 slices white bread or toast
  • ½ tsp. vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar to serve
  • 1 tbsp. flaked almonds roasted


  • Whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla sugar and cinnamon.
  • Heat oil in a non-stick frying pan.
  • Place bread slices, one at a time, into the milk and egg mixture.
  • Allow to soak in on both sides.
  • Place the French toast in the pan.
  • Fry for 3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Sprinkle the French toast with powdered sugar on a plate.
  • Top French toast with blueberries and almonds.


Honey or maple syrup can also be used to serve.
