Ingredients
  

Dough

  • 125 g butter cold
  • 60 g sugar
  • 1 egg medium
  • 1-2 drops lemon flavoring
  • 250 g flour

Decorate

  • 75 g powdered sugar
  • 1-2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • sugar sprinkles to taste
  • glitter dust gold

Instructions
 

Dough

  • Knead cold butter with sugar, egg, lemon flavoring and flour into a smooth dough.
  • Shape the dough into a flat patty and refrigerate for min. 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the cookie dough thinly.
  • Cut out cookies with angel cookie cutters.
  • Bake the angel cookies in the oven at 180 degrees for about 12-15 minutes.
  • Let the cookies cool down.

Decorate

  • Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice to make a sugar glaze.
  • Coat the angel cookies completely or just brush the edges with the glaze.
  • Top Christmas cookies with sugar sprinkles and glitter dust.
  • Let glaze dry and enjoy Christmas cookies during Advent.
